Founded in 2004, SLOGAR Juriconseils is a Quebec legal services firm specializing in the representation of workplace accident victims (CNESST), road accident victims (SAAQ), and individuals with disabilities covered by private disability insurance or by Retraite Québec.

The beginnings of SLOGAR: a human-centered entrepreneurial vision
In March 2004, the idea of creating a professional services company focused on helping people took shape in Stéphane Slogar’s mind. After several months of market analysis and strategic planning, the company was founded in September 2004 under the name Gestions SGS, which became SLOGAR 2 SST inc. in January 2005.
At that time, the organization worked primarily in occupational health and safety (OHS), in collaboration with employers, through accident prevention services, training, and workplace consulting.
From OHS consulting to representing injured workers
Between 2004 and 2008, SLOGAR went through an intense period of entrepreneurial growth. In 2007, the company moved into its first professional offices in Longueuil, where its head office remains today.
The real turning point came in April 2008, when a pro bono case for a worker injured in a workplace accident led to a fundamental shift in positioning. SLOGAR then decided to dedicate itself exclusively to the legal representation of injured workers before the CNESST.
That same year, the firm launched its first radio advertising campaign to reach people in need of a workplace accident lawyer in Quebec.
The arrival of lawyers and representation before the TAT
In September 2008, SLOGAR hired its first lawyer to represent clients before the Commission des lésions professionnelles, now the Administrative Labour Tribunal (TAT).
In January 2010, the company ended its employer-based services to focus exclusively on injured workers, while expanding its expertise to the following areas:
- Road accidents (SAAQ)
- Private disability insurance
- Disability recognized by public plans (Retraite Québec)
Official birth of SLOGAR Juriconseils
In January 2011, the firm adopted its current identity: SLOGAR Juriconseils. This milestone marked the complete structuring of the organization—legally, organizationally, and technologically.
The team grew with the arrival of new lawyers specializing in CNESST, SAAQ, and disability insurance, and processes were optimized to offer efficient, accessible legal services centered on client needs.
Growth, recognition, and regional presence in Quebec
In 2013, SLOGAR Juriconseils became a finalist at the Gala Excellence of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a recognition highlighting the quality of its legal services.
Between 2013 and 2018, the firm continued its expansion by opening offices on the North Shore (Blainville), in Quebec City, and in Drummondville, to bring its CNESST, SAAQ and Retraite Québec lawyers closer to clients across Quebec.
In 2019, SLOGAR Juriconseils was once again a finalist at the Gala Excellence, confirming the organization’s strength and credibility.
Innovation, adaptation, and modern legal services
Starting in 2020, SLOGAR Juriconseils strengthened its internal structure, particularly in human resources, to support its growth and the well-being of its teams.
The pandemic accelerated the transformation of legal practices: phone and video consultations, secure digital communications, and remote hearings before administrative tribunals. The firm adapts in order to continue offering accessible legal services to victims of workplace or road accidents, or to individuals with a condition covered under disability insurance or by Retraite Québec, throughout Quebec.
Since 2024, this evolution has continued with the integration of new technologies, the arrival of new lawyers, and the ongoing optimization of services—without ever losing sight of the central goal: defending the rights of workplace accident victims, road accident victims, and individuals with disabilities.
